Efficiency Vermont Launches HEAR Rebates Through Existing Program Infrastructure
Update, July 2026: Vermont's HEAR rollout has since been paused and the state advises homeowners not to plan on HEAR funds for future projects — see current status on our Vermont page. Original coverage, March 2026: Vermont moved to deploy IRA HEAR (Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates) funding by integrating it into Efficiency Vermont's existing program structure, with income-eligible households applying through the same Efficiency Vermont process they already know and HEAR funding layered on top of existing state rebates for qualifying households.
