FAQ

Rebate matcher questions

How does the rebate matching work?

The matcher compares your state, occupancy, income band, and planned or completed upgrades with the eligibility fields on each program row. The same inputs produce the same matches.

What rebate data does the matcher check?

It checks active federal, state, and utility program rows in the Retrofit Relay database. Program details are verified against the administering organization's own site and include a verified-as-of date when available.

Do I need an account to use the rebate matcher?

No account is needed to run a match. The full report asks for an email and consent to rebate alerts. Creating an account is optional and lets you save the result to your Retrofit Plan.

How current is the rebate information?

Program rows are stamped with the date they were last verified. Rebates, deadlines, and funding can change, so confirm the current terms with the administering organization before signing a contract.
