Stark turns its 80 hp electric supermoto into a titanium-loaded blacked-out beast
This news is about an electric motorcycle, not a home energy upgrade, so it has no real bearing on your house or utility bills. Still, here's what happened: Stark Future, maker of an 80 horsepower electric supermoto (a street-legal dirt-bike-style motorcycle), is releasing a limited edition called the VARG SM Sköll. Only 500 numbered units will be built worldwide, with no plans for a second run, and first deliveries are set for October 2026.
The Sköll keeps the same core hardware as the standard VARG SM — a 7.2 kWh battery built into the frame, a single-speed drivetrain, and the same motor and chassis — but nearly every part that can be blackened has been, through anodizing, powder coating, or other finishing rather than paint. Stark also swapped in 3D-printed titanium footpegs and a full titanium bolt kit, shaving about 1.1 kg (2.4 lb) off the bike, making it the lightest VARG SM the company has made.
For a homeowner, this is just an item of curiosity in the electric-vehicle world, similar to other niche EV product launches. It doesn't involve any home electrical upgrades, charging equipment changes, or rebate programs. If you happen to own or want an electric motorcycle, the main practical note is that supply is capped at 500 units, so availability could be tight once deliveries begin.
