Jackery steps into RVs with built-in 2 kW solar and 45 kWh storage
Jackery, known for portable power stations and home backup batteries, is moving into the travel trailer market. The company has partnered with Pebble, a California trailer maker, to offer a solar add-on for the upcoming 2027 Pebble Flow, an electric travel trailer.
The option adds four 500-watt solar panels, cables, and a connection kit that plug into the Pebble Flow's built-in power system. That system already includes a 45 kilowatt-hour battery (using lithium iron phosphate, or LFP, cells known for durability) and can take in up to 4 kW of solar power total. With Jackery's panels deployed, the trailer gets about 2 kW of added solar charging while parked. The battery can also send up to 12 kW of power out, to a house, another RV, or an electric tow vehicle.
This solar package is a $4,000 option on top of the Pebble Flow Founder Edition's $189,000 price tag. Jackery is not supplying the trailer's main battery, just the solar hardware. The hardware is expected to start shipping in December 2026.
For most homeowners this is simply a sign that home battery and solar brands are expanding into vehicles built for off-grid living and power sharing, not a product tied to home energy upgrades or rebates. If you already use a Jackery power station or are curious about electric trailers that can back up your house during an outage, this is worth watching, but it does not affect current home weatherization or rebate programs.
