Chevy hikes Blazer EV prices, pushing it over $45,000

October 13, 2026 · Electrek · Score: 1

Chevy has raised prices on its electric Blazer for the 2027 model year. The base Blazer EV LT now starts at $45,000, up $300 from last year, or $46,795 once you add the $1,795 destination fee. The sportier RS trim also went up $300, to $52,595, while the top SS trim holds steady at $62,495. Adding all-wheel drive costs another $3,000 on the LT and RS; the SS already comes with it standard.

On range, the LT and RS use an 85 kWh battery good for up to 312 miles with front-wheel drive, or 283 miles with all-wheel drive. The SS uses a bigger 102 kWh battery rated at up to 302 miles. All 2027 Blazer EVs now have a built-in NACS charging port, so they can plug into Tesla Superchargers without an adapter, and an upgraded Bose sound system is now optional on the LT and RS, not just the SS.

Even with these updates, the Blazer EV costs more than rivals like the Tesla Model Y, Toyota bZ, and Hyundai IONIQ 5, though it offers more interior space. Sales have also dropped sharply, down nearly 80 percent this year, since the federal $7,500 EV tax credit expired. If you're shopping for an electric Blazer, the better deals right now are likely on the outgoing 2026 models rather than the newly priced 2027 lineup.
